Dwarfed - Winter
The White Mountains have famously wild weather. Memorial Day of 2013 was no exception. More than a foot of new snow fell, all the way down to the base of the mountains, even though it was almost June. In this photography a lone hiker is lost in the vastness of the above treeline stretch on the summit of Mount Moosilauke and a large cloud above him. The image highlights the power of nature and man's insignificance in the face of it.
