Young Bull Moose, White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire
What a delight to spend an hour with the young moose, earning his trust (from a distance and with a 600mm lens of course) while he went about his business of eating aquatic plants and drinking. Moose love to come to the water in summer to stay cool and get minerals from aquatic plants. This was shot in October of 2020, but I figured it was a good shot for the still scorching hot days of August when we are all looking for cool refreshment.
